David is a merger and acquisition (M&A) advisor with The NYBB Group. David advises clients on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, exit strategies, and business valuations. He represents clients across a variety of industries, with a special focus on distribution, healthcare, retail, and small manufacturing. David’s clients include entrepreneurs, business owners, top executives, and companies in the lower middle market whose annual revenues are between $5 and $50 million.
David has been an entrepreneur most of his adult life. He has owned businesses in the retail, real estate, healthcare and consulting industries. David has extensive, exit planning experience. As an exit planner, he realized that he also wanted to provide merger and acquisition services to his clients. “My background has made it very easy to transition to mergers and acquisitions. “I understand the nuances of operations, markets, and can help better position companies for sale by quickly analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that they face.” “It’s not all about numbers,” adds David. “While numbers are important, it is the people, the vision, the energy that impacts the business and affects the value of good will. It’s what your customers say about you that raises or lowers the score for valuation.”
David has been a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) since 2016. He is actively involved with the International Business Brokers Association, which issues the CBI designation. He has six children, loves to golf and is involved in his local church.
