Roy Pellicano is a information technology and business strategy leader with 23 years of experience in entrepreneurial leadership roles, project management, organizational consulting, and IT and Product Governance.  Roy has served as the CTO for a start-up leading multiple teams of employees and onshore and offshore contractors to bring a complex product from concept to prototype within six months.

Roy is a serial entrepreneur, who over the course of 25 years, has consulted with startups, mid-market growth-oriented businesses, Fortune 100’s, and multi-billion Private Equity firms.  His focus is to support the maturation of IT departments so that they can drive value and improve the lives of their respective stakeholders.

Roy published “Sky High Profit Rocket” as a part of his development of a new venture The-Business-Toolbox.com which provides tools to businesses on how to grow their businesses through IT-business strategy alignment and transformation, marketing, process formalization, and sales.  He is a speaker, panel moderator, and educator.

Roy’s expertise is as a cross-functional leader who collaborates to understand stakeholder needs, wants, values, and expectations.  He leverages communication, change, and risk management as the underpinning of a successful project.  Driving a formalized project management methodology Roy founded the PMO at Queens Library—a $100mm 63 location business to drive successful program management across the entire business portfolio.

As a seasoned project manager, Roy monitors budget, time, and tasks to ensure that projects run smoothly and issues are identified and addressed quickly.  Experienced in leading agile, cascade, and hybrid projects and able to work with teams that include executive, technical, business, on-shore, and offshore resources Roy is able to deliver success on complex and at-risk projects.

Roy has served in every role of a project, from end-user SME to executive sponsor and so understands the needs of each and every stakeholder and how needs change from project to project.

Roy has served on multiple boards.
