Samiah Fatimah is a seasoned M&A advisor with The NYBB Group, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, exit strategies, and business valuations. She brings a wealth of experience from a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, banking, finance, education, real estate, SAAS, and consumer goods. Samiah engages with a diverse clientele, from entrepreneurs and business owners to sponsors and companies in the lower middle market, targeting annual revenues of $5 to $50 million.
Her corporate journey is marked by significant roles across the commercial real estate and banking sectors. As a former Research Associate at CoStar Group, Samiah delivered critical commercial real estate insights to top-tier clients such as CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, and various REITs. Her tenure as a Global Markets Analyst in the CRE Warehouse Lending team at Goldman Sachs involved working closely with investors and sponsors, managing commercial real estate collateral loans within a $6 billion warehouse lending facility.
Samiah’s dynamic career also includes pivotal roles with numerous tech startups, from Seed to Series B stages, as an Operator and Chief of Staff. In these positions, she has been instrumental in securing venture capital financing, spearheading business development, and launching products, demonstrating her versatile skill set and ability to drive growth and innovation.
Originally from Virginia, Samiah now calls the Upper East Side of New York her home. Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply committed to her community, actively supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing education and financial literacy.
Samiah’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Finance from Harvard University. Additionally, she holds a real estate salesperson license in New York, further cementing her expertise and authority in her field.
