04 Feb AM&AA Long Island Chapter Fireside Chat featuring Mark Burford, Co-Founder of Blue Point Brewing Company
Join the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors Long Island Chapter for a Fireside Chat featuring Mark Burford, Co-Founder of Blue Point Brewing Company, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
In 1998, Mark Burford, a Long Island native, co-founded Blue Point Brewing Company in Patchogue and began what is a true local success story for the region. The first beer the brewery produced was Toasted Lager, which went on to win two World Beer Cup gold medals. Over the years Mark created other craft brews which have had much success and attracted the attention of industry giant Anheuser-Busch.
In 2014, Mr. Burford sold Blue Point to Anheuser-Busch, joining Anheuser-Busch’s family of craft brands. Its operations, brewing and management team continue to be led from Patchogue, N.Y. In 2018, Blue Point will be expanding its innovation portfolio with a new brewery on Patchogue’s Main Street. This new facility will not only increase Blue Point’s brewing capacity, but will also let beer lovers experience the people and place that inspire Blue Point every day.
